not icing the kicker

the Titans just beat the Texans as the Texan kicker missed a FG wide left that would have tied the game with time expiring. clearly, Jeff Fisher would call a timeout to ice the kicker.

but no! he didn't, and I honestly think that affected the kicker.

i have no particular stake in the game, but huzzah!

Fantastic! I hate the icing-the-kicker. I think the rule should be that if a coach calls a timeout to ice the opposing kicker, that kicker gets to kick that coach in the balls during the timeout.

Plus the entire concept makes no sense. Ice the kicker? What exactly has the kicker been doing all game? Mostly nothing. He's already iced. What, you're going to break his rhythm on his 35th field goal attempt of the game?

And they've already gone to commercial break.... why make it longer?

Perhaps coaches get kick backs from large advertisers....

Not sure how you "ice" a kicker in Miami, Phoenix, Houston, SanDiego...
